The Rock Art Center of Tito Bustillo and the MUJA are added to the Science and Technology Week, which is one of the most important scientific dissemination initiatives held throughout Spain. The goal is to bring science to audiences of all ages, stimulate the taste for scientific knowledge and encourage citizen participation in scientific issues.
The workshop that organizes the Rock Art Center of Tito Bustillo of Ribadesella is called "H2O: Water and Prehistory", a workshop for all audiences in which the role played by water in Prehistory will be shown. The activity will be developed on 9, 10, 16 and 17 days in November, at 12: 00 and 17: 00 hours. The objective is to expose the "indissoluble" common history of human beings and water during the Paleolithic.
The participants will discover the climatic changes and the consequences of these on the first Sapiens populations, the role of water in the configuration of the karstic landscape, the sources of drinking water as a factor for human settlement and the curious uses of water in the Paleolithic and in rock art, as well as the agglutination of paintings as a determining factor in their contamination and conservation.
The workshop has a cost of 1,50 euros and it is not necessary to make a previous reservation.

In the Jurassic Museum of Asturias, of Colunga, the activities will be developed from Saturday 9 to Friday November 22.
