The first Rociero de Llanes Festival It will take place between the 22 and the 25 in June and will be organized by the Association of Xarrés and Caballos del Oriente. The event will take place in the area of ​​La Portilla. The actions of The Chunguitos y Brown sugar they will be the highlight of the Friday and Saturday nights, 23 and 24 of June.

We expect more than four hundred horses from different parts of the Peninsula and there will be about fifty booths. The organizers have put together a complete program with activities for all audiences: routes with horses and xaré; Mass sung by the Choir of the Hermandad del Rocío de Ceuta; parade that will tour La Portilla, Llanes, Poo, Porrúa and will end again in La Portilla; gymkhana of horses; career of ponies and donkeys, and various performances of flamenco groups.

The event will start on Thursday at 17 hours with the decoration of the booths and will end on Sunday at the 17.30 with the awards ceremony and the closing of the festival.
On Saturday at 17 hours, the famous show 'The magic of the horse'.

In the booths you can taste different dishes and drinks typical of the South, as well as participate in contests of better clothing or enjoy the dance competitions of sevillanas children and adults.
