The beach of Espasa is about 1150 meters long. Normally the level of occupation of the beach in summer season is high. Semi-urban beach whose composition is sandy and with access for the disabled.
This coastal strip, included in the so-called Jurassic Coast of Asturias, also holds an immense geological and paleontological treasure. Traces and fossils of that era abound, the findings have been filed and cataloged during the last decade and now are exposed in the Jurassic Museum of Asturias.
We detail the characteristics of the beach of La Espasa in the Asturian municipality of Caravia.
