From the 22 of July to the 11 of September, the Transport Plan to Lagos de Covadonga from Cangas de Onís will be operative. The plan to access the Lakes of Covadonga only by public transport meets the objective of protecting the Picos de Europa National Park (Reserve of the Biosphere) during the times of the year of greatest tourist influx. The rest of the time access is free.

The representatives of the entities that make up the commission closed not only the summer calendar, but the rest of the year. The agreed dates are as follows: during the summer, from the 22 from July to the 11 from September; the day 25 July, Pastor's day, there will also be special regulation; on the bridge of All Saints, from 20 from October to 1 from November; and on the bridge of the Constitution, from December 3 to December 11.

The prices of the tickets of the past year will be maintained and also the schedules will be the same. The first bus ride to the Lakes will be at 9: 00 h. and the last one to the 18: 30 h., while the last one to go down from the Lakes is programmed to the 19: 30 h. During the days of operation of the system, the road between Covadonga and Los Lagos will remain closed to private traffic between 8: 30 and 20: 00 h. The frequency of buses ranges between 10 and 15 minutes. It should be noted that access is free for the disabled with an accredited vehicle and that buses of organized groups require a special permit to access.
