The llanisca town of Nueva will host next Saturday December 8 the fourth edition of Mercau del Tardíu, an initiative that emerged with the purpose of bringing together the tradition and culture of the San Jorge Valley, with the idea of promoting cooperativism and showing the potential and quality of the Valley's products. It will be held from 10.00 a.m. to 16.00 p.m. on the indoor sports court. The Mercáu del Tardíu is organized by the AMPA of the Public School of Nueva and has the collaboration of producers from the San Jorge Valley and the Llanes City Council.
There are four sectors around which it turns to the market:
-Travel to the world of cider: process and elaboration.
-Primeras jabas del valle: exhibition and sale of the different varieties of «Jabas del Valle de San Jorge».
-Mercau of products: popular market for garden products and home-made products.
-Mercau of craftsmanship.
In addition, there will be children's workshops, and finally, around the 16.00 hours, the raffle of the "Tardíu Basket" will take place.
