The Galician Symphony Orchestra will play the October 30 with Dima Solobodeniuk on baton and Vadim Gluzman on violin. White Night of Pravia
The next edition of the White Night of Pravia will take place on Friday October 9 with a renewed and adapted program for all audiences.
· The activities will begin at 18:30 in the Municipal Public Library with a Star Wars children's storyteller, where characters from the saga characterized will read stories to the little ones.
· Presentation of the new book by Pepe Monteserín “Con Mucho Busto” at 19:00 p.m.
Also in the library and continuously, from 19:00 to 24:00 at night there will be a board game room and the installation of a new virtual reality machine to draw and paint in 3D. Nor could they miss the visits and guided routes that will take place in this edition. You will visit the old town of Pravia, following the brushstrokes of the book "Azúcar" by Monteserín and will begin at 22:00 pm. There will also be a special bus service for guided tours of Somao and the Church of San Juan Evangelista in Santianes. Both routes will leave from Plaza Conde Guadalhorce at 21:30 p.m.

· VII Ochobre Folk. Dance and traditional music festival, Mieres
On Saturday, October 10, the seventh edition of the Ochobre Folk (Festival of Baille and Traditional Music) organized by the Prau Llerón Folk Group.
The late motiv of this edition will be dedicated to the traditional dances of Asturias, in all its variants. For that reason and from very early, it will be possible to enjoy from 11 am, talk-workshop on the stick dance of the Zamarrones de Pola Llena that Sergio Velasco will offer at the Mieres Centru Cultural facilities.
Late in the afternoon, at 18: 00 h the festival will continue with the talk-recital that the renowned avilesino folklorist, Fernando de la Puente Hevia, will impart on the Dances of Rueda in the town of Mieres. Finally and as a culmination for this atypical edition of the Ochobre Folk festival, we will have the participation of one of the revelation groups of the Asturian traditional music scene, Algaire, A las 21:30 at the MCC.
