11 of the 20 November 2016 Gijón celebrates the 9th edition of the most important championship in Spain. More than a hundred establishments offer "Competition Pinchos".
All the skewers presented have a cost between € 1,50 and € 2,00.
The championship is made up of two juries: a jury of classification and a final jury formed by experts in gastronomy.
The classification jury will be divided into several groups led by a Group Leader (who will score with decimals) and they will taste all the contest pinchos of the establishments that are allocated by lot.
From the tasting of this jury will come the special prizes of the Championship:
· Special Asturian pincho award.
· Special public price by popular vote.
· Cruzcampo Gran Reserva Special Award.
· R + D + i Award.
· Social Media pincho award.
They will count the taste, the presentation, the originality and the commercial application of each skewer, being the winner that proposal that obtains the most general score.
On the occasion of the championship a Gastromapa of location of all the establishments will be published. This will serve as a reference for the general public to know the candidate establishments, their tasting hours and their offer; thus facilitating the public the possibility of tasting the participating proposals during the established days and at the indicated hours.
Fenicia Marketing Gourmet organizes and organizes, with the promotion of the City Council of Gijón, the collaboration of Otea Gijón and the sponsorship of Cruzcampo Gran Reserva this championship.
