We echo the program of the XV Edition of the International Chamber Music Festival, which will take place this year on 17, 18 and 19 days in August at La Cuevona de Ardines, in Ribadesella.
On Friday 17 August, vocal music by Moisés Molín and Dolores Granados with works by Puccini, Rossini, Verdi and Penella, among others.
Saturday day 18 August, will play a quartet of oboe, violin, viola and violoncello, which will perform works by Mozart, Schubert, Shield, Bach and Britten.
Sunday day 19 August, turn of the Saint Petersburg Trio, which will delight the audience with works by Beethoven and Schumann.
The place where the musical cycle will take place, La Cuevona de Ardines, is actually a cavity excavated initially at the end of the 19th century, with a natural hollow in its upper part that provides a dim lighting to the room, creating a unique atmosphere together with the reverberation of the sound of the instruments that is produced inside the cavern.
The concerts will start each day at 21 hours, and the tickets can be purchased at a price of 15 euros at the Municipal Tourist Office. After fourteen years of concerts, the appointment of La Cuevona has become not only an international reference for the quality of the performers who come to it, but in a social event of summer in eastern Asturias.
