Will take place July 3-12, 2020, at the headquarters of Old Institute of Gijón.
Given the impossibility of the health situation allowing it to be carried out in its traditional format, Black Week will reinvent its format this year with the central core of the festival, the literary gathering, as axis. For this they have planned a 'plan B', if the conditions allow a limited and controlled number of people to be brought together, and a 'plan C', in the event that, unfortunately, this is not the case. Always taking into account the indications of the health authorities and the Government of the city of Gijón.
The director of content for the Black Week in Gijón, Ángel de la Calle, announced this decision in mid-April. In any case, this year Black Week is reinventing itself more than ever under a fundamental motto: this is Black Week and Literature is not killed by a virus.
