This small beach is integrated into the Protected Landscape of the East Coast of Asturias and is separated from the beach of Cuevas del Mar by Punta San Antonio, has white sand and moderate swell.
The beach of San Antonio is located in the coastal strip of Llanes, between the nearest towns are Nueva de Llanes, Ovio and Picones.
The beach has about 70 m. of length and 50 of width, shell shape and calm waters. Of course, we must mention the lack of equipment and services, we are in a totally wild and natural beach, protected by rocky cliffs. It has gained a considerable influx in recent years, from users fleeing the high occupation that also registers the nearby Cuevas del Mar.

How to get to San Antonio Beach
The access can be made on foot from Cuevas del Mar, just 5 minutes walk through a path that leads to a farm with horses. We have to cross through the enabled passage, follow the path, visualizing the chapel of San Antonio in the upper part. We have to take the fork to the right.
You can also get there by car from Nueva de Llanes, go through Ovio and Picones. In this last town you can leave the car, or go forward and approach the farm and park there, although there is no space for many cars. It is necessary to make the last meters walking.Text: © Ramón Molleda for desdeasturias.com
