The beach has a length of six hundred meters with sand and rocky areas and dunes. The western area is called "Las Barqueras", and the eastern zone "Castro" because near the beach there is a castro from Roman times. It is an ideal place for swimming and also has good conditions for diving and surfing.
Otur beach is accessed from the N-634, between the homonymous population and that of Sabugo, traveling about 800 meters. You can reach the sand by car; although you must park in the area enabled as parking. Otur beach can also be reached by rail; the nearest station is in Piniello, at 3 kilometers.
