A beach in its purest state

Located in the western end of the council of Valdés is in the vicinity of the town of Otur, and about 6 kilometers from Luarca.

The beach has a length of six hundred meters with sand and areas of rocks and dunes. The west zone is called "Las Barqueras", and the east side "Castro" because near the beach there is a Roman era castro. It is an ideal place for swimming and also meets good conditions for diving and surfing.

Otur beach is accessed from the N-634, between the homonymous population and that of Sabugo, traveling about 800 meters. You can reach the sand by car; although you must park in the area enabled as parking. Otur beach can also be reached by rail; the nearest station is in Piniello, at 3 kilometers.
